There’s a lot to look forward to on The Bachelor 2014’s second week out of the gate with Juan Pablo Galavis and the 18 remaining girls. And while we hate to get your heart pumping too hard right off the bat, there are a few things you’ll need to know to prepare yourself for the first week of dates.
ABC’s synopsis pretty much lays out exactly what to expect, date-wise, and we’re surprised they’re giving away so much! As we saw on the Bachelor: Behind the Scenes episode, Clare Crawley gets the first 1-on-1 date. So, what do they do? A little ice skating, some dancing, and making out while wearing very little. She gets a rose, of course.
On the group date, a ton of girls get to be in some pictures with some dogs, but not everyone is stoked about it. A sneak peek of the episode shows that Andi Dorfman is asked to wear a really small sign as her “outfit” and she is not excited about it in the least. “Free spirit” Lucy Aragon also brings drama with her nudity up the wazoo (and no, that’s not a euphemism).
Also causing drama is Victoria Lima, who gets hammered, makes friends with the bathroom floor, and tells JPG to send her home. Which he does…
Single mom Cassandra Ferguson seems to be wishy-washy about the whole process, and she confesses that she was happier before going on the show. But the 21-year-old (at the time of shooting) toughs it out, so don’t worry too much about her. In the end, the group date rose goes to Kelly Travis, who gets made up the most dramatically of everyone.
On his second 1-on-1 date of the season, Juan Pablo takes Kat Hurd to Salt Lake City for the Electric Run, a 5K full of neon colors and dancing around. After tossing roses to the crowds, Kat gets one of her own. Which is good, because that would’ve been an awfully awkward flight back to Bachelor Mansion.
At the Rose Ceremony, Juan Pablo has to eliminate two more would-be wives, and the unlucky ladies are Amy Long and Chantel Forrest. Oops, better luck next time, girls!
Tune in to see all the drama play out on The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Monday, January 13 on ABC!
