Todd Tucker Heads to New York For “Babe” Kandi Burruss’s Off-Broadway Debut

Mama Joyce may have her own very public reservations about daughter Kandi Burruss's fiancé Todd Tucker, but from everything we know and have seen, Kandi and Todd seem like a truly terrific match. Their both creative and driven, and it's obvious that they care very deeply about one another.

Kandi jetted off to New York City last week to prepare for her two week run in the Off-Broadway show, Newsical the Musical, and until recently, Todd was in Los Angeles working on a project of his own. We were worried that the distance would be too difficult for the picture-perfect couple to handle, but Todd made the cross-country trek to the Big Apple yesterday to see his gal in her Off-Broadway debut.

Todd posted a selfie on his Instagram account from the backseat of a car and wrote, "In NY getting my Uber on!!' Heading to see my babe!@kandiburruss doing her thing In NY!! Off Broadway play!!! #talentedasf—k." We love that Todd recognizes Kandi's multitude of talents and made sure he was present for her important debut. Mama Joyce, are you reading this? Because we seriously think it's about time you get on board with this dude!

Also on hand for Kandi's big night was Todd's daughter, Kae, who posed happily with her future stepmom on the red carpet. Kandi Instagrammed a photo of the duo and captioned the pic, "@kpt__ came thru last night! @todd167's mini me. #fam." Now all we need is Riley and then Kandi's family is complete!

It may take some time before Kandi and Todd actually walk down the aisle, but either way they are clearly in it for the long haul.

Are you surprised that Todd and Kae supported Kandi in her Off-Broadway debut? Tell us your thoughts below!
