American Idol

How Much Does American Idol Judge Jennifer Lopez Make?

Jennifer Lopez is one busy lady. Beside being a mom to two adorable tots, performing worldwide, and starring in major motion pictures, girlfriend's also a judge on American Idol, no easy commitment. All these ventures, however, mean J.Lo's racking in the dough.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jenny from the block is worth more than $300 million with an annual salary of $12 million. Still, don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got. Judging from her time on Idol, Jennifer's still just as cool and down-to-earth as she was in her In Living Color days.

Back when J.Lo was married to fellow entertainer Marc Anthony, the couple were estimated to be worth a combined total of $350 million, according to Hollywood Life. Obviously, Marc got the financial bad ending when he and Jennifer went their separate ways in 2012 after eight years of marriage.

As for what portion of that whopping $300 million net worth comes courtesy of Idol, Jennifer made a reported $12 million for judging the tenth season and landed a huge $3 million raise to jump up to $15 million for Season 11. After passing on Season 12, J.Lo decided to return for Season 13 with an extra $2.5 million as an incentive for her comeback. Jennifer now makes an estimated $17.5 million for the gig, according to the Daily Mail.

That figure places Jennifer on the list of highest paid judges on reality TV. After seeing the magic she worked with fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr during the January 15 premiere, we'd say she's worth every penny.
