If you’ve ever wanted to have your kids look like the Kardashians, it’s your lucky day.
On Wednesday, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner announced that her famous family would make yet another foray into fashion with their upcoming children's line, Kardashian Kids.
The 58-year-old reality star posted the kiddie company’s logo to her Instagram, along with the caption “Imagine that!!!! So excited @kardashian_kids #itsabouttime!"
Following in her fashionable fiance’s footsteps, sources close to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West say that the new mom may be using the line (and its possible future spokesperson, North) to prove to fashion industry insiders that she’s more than just a pretty face and a pile of money.
“Kim says she knows her image is pretty set, but she’s hoping that she can play off Nori to move into high-fashion design circles,” says a Kardashian insider. “Kanye’s already helping her to do that, but this would further erase her trashy past and make her even more money at the same time.”
While it was previously reported that Kim and Kanye were at odds over the upcoming line, it seems as though they’ve worked out their differences, and, as of yesterday, the company’s first shoot was under way. For anyone concerned that the family might tone down their flashy signature style for the young’uns, fear not — the first photos of the line assure that leopard print abounds.
