American Idol

Watch Twins Selena and Sierra Perform in American Idol 2014, San Francisco Auditions — Only One Gets Sent Through! (VIDEO)

Despite the lowest ratings ever in American Idol history, our favorite competition show is back and better than ever, having blown us away with its premiere on January 15. The combination of amazing contestant talent and chemistry between the judges made it the best episode we’ve seen in awhile... and we’re only getting started!

Tonight promises to be another great night on the show, as the auditions continue in Austin and move on to San Francisco. Will Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. meet the country’s next big superstar in one of these fair cities? Only time will tell!

It’s in San Francisco where the judges meet 22-year-old twins Selena and Sierra Moreno. These sisters are clearly close and make the choice to go into the audition room together. Selena delivers a jazzy rendition of “Try” by Janis Joplin that gets the judges smiling. (Side note: Are we the only ones who swoon when Keith smiles?) Sierra’s up next and opts for “1+1” by Beyonce. Unfortunately, only one of the sisters is going to make it through.

“Selena, when you sang, I thought your voice was really good,” says Keith. “Sierra, when you sang, I thought your voice was good, but it didn’t hit me in the same way that Selena’s did. But you have more of an outgoing power about you.”

“One of you is clearly the better singer,” adds Harry. “As a set you won’t make it. I have no problem making this decision, but it’s probably going to be harder on you.”

Who will make it through and who gets sent home? Watch the video to find out!
