Bethenny Frankel Begs Judge to Evict Estranged Husband Jason Hoppy
The divorce trial between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy is getting increasingly acrimonious. While things began civilly back in early 2013 when the talk show host filed to end their three year marriage, with Bethenny allowing Jason to remain in their apartment to be close to daughter, Bryn, she’s now asking the courts to evict her estranged husband from the loft.
In the Manhattan Supreme Court today (January 17), the Real Housewives of New York alum filed a motion for exclusive occupancy of the home they have shared: a 3,400 square foot luxury Tribeca loft worth $5 million.
The living situation is just one part of their ongoing divorce trial, which has seen it’s fair share of drama in the press. Just recently, Bethenny told Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger on-air that she “settled” for Jason. We’re guessing that it wasn’t easy going home after that..
43-year-old Bethenny has seemingly moved on with younger man: NYC-based businessman Michael Cerussi, 34. That was likely an impetus in the change in living situations, as well.
We hope that Bethenny and Jason can remain civil and hopefully work to a polite friendship in the future, for the sake of precious Bryn, 3.
