Joyce Giraud Talks Brandi Glanville Feud: She “Started Attacking Me”

The season-long catfight between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Brandi Glanville and Joyce Giraud doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down.

The two women have bickered everywhere from Palm Springs to Yolanda Foster’s dinner party and about issues ranging from the hair-fixing incident to Brandi’s questionably racist comments to Joyce’s husband Michael getting involved.

And while Joyce once took a more passive role in the duo’s arguments, the former actress is now attempting to get her side of the story to the public.

“Brandi started attacking me,” Joyce told “She was saying that I was using her for a story line but I have a life. I have a job. I have a lot going on that people would be very interested in. So I was just defending myself.”

The reality star now plans to stand up for herself in when she and Brandi start fighting.

“I think Brandi thought in the beginning that since I let her get away with what she said that she probably thought I was just a dumb beauty queen or a wallflower. It took me a long time to show labels!”

Joyce admits that she was a fan of RHOBH before she went on the show and even thought she and Brandi would get along.

“I really thought I would like Brandi,” she said. “But she is doing to me exactly what she said happened to her. She is playing the victim. She called Kim and Kyle Richards bullies. It is a double standard. She always got away with treating people badly. It isn’t, ‘telling it like it is.’ She ‘attacks like it is.’”
