Wednesday Night Is Family Night on ABC in the Viggle Minute (VIDEO)

Tonight it’s all about family. First, Modern Family on ABC. Starting at 9 p.m. ET, this evening’s episode is full of…silence. Cam and Mitchell have a night of awkward pauses, which means hilarious results for us. We wonder if the two have hit another impasse in their wedding planning. At least they already have the world’s cutest flower girl in daughter Lily.

Things aren’t quite as fun and lighthearted at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. Nashville’s back and the two stars are both struggling with fame. Scarlett is having trouble keeping her feet on the ground as her music career takes off while Juliette’s affair is today’s dirty laundry. But her family-oriented fans aren’t taking kindly to her infidelity and it shows in plummeting ticket sales.

But it’s the perfect time to make lemonade out of lemons and, as Mr. Viggle suggests, pen a new sad country tune. What rhymes with “I use to be on Heroes and now I’m a cheater”?

Also on tonight: the third night of auditions for American Idol Season 13. The show may have started off bumpy last week with its lowest ratings ever, but don’t let that deter you. New judge Harry Connick, Jr was totally charming in the premiere and we wouldn’t be surprised if he wows again as we try and find the next addition to the American Idol family.
