CSI: Miami Star Eva LaRue’s Husband Seeks Divorce, Denies Spousal Support
Unfortunately for Miami, this week has not been the city’s happiest. First, Justin Bieber gets arrested. Now, a star of the area’s CSI series is getting divorced.
Actress Eva LaRue’s husband, Joseph Cappuccio, has filed for divorce, reports TMZ. Even more upsetting: He asked the court to reject any request Eva might make for spousal support. Not that she will ask. The 47-year-old’s acting career hit a major landmark when she landed the role of Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami, the very first spinoff of the successful crime drama.
Since her gig solving murders ended with the series in April 2012, Eva has also starred in several TV movies and briefly appeared on Criminal Minds. Previously she rose to fame thanks to her time on soap drama All My Children — you might recognize her as Dr. Maria Santos.
Eva and Joseph walked down the aisle on June 28, 2010. They have no children. Joseph cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
This was Eva’s third marriage. She was previously married from 1992 to 1994 to actor John O’Hurley and from 1996 to 2004 to fellow soap star John Callahan, with whom she has a daughter.
