Dean McDermott’s Ex-Wife Shows Her Support Of Dean’s Rehab: “I Wish Him Only The Best”
Mary Jo Eustace might have written a whole book — Divorce Sucks — about Dean McDermott leaving her for Tori Spelling, but now that Dean’s officially entered rehab, she’s stepping up to show her support when he needs it most.
“I wish Dean only the best in his struggle to overcome the demons he has been wrestling with for so many years so he can become the father and the man I know he wants to be,” Mary Jo told People. “My main concern at this point is the well-being and health of the son we share.”
“I am also hopeful that from this point on, there will be a dedicated effort to deal with this matter privately and respectfully, for the sake of all the children involved,” Mary Jo, a Canadian actress and TV host, added.
Following the rumors that Dean cheated on Tori that have been circulating since late 2013, Dean checked into rehab on January 23. And while those rumors haven’t been confirmed, Dean did apologize for what he’s put his family through.
“[I] have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues,” he said Thursday. “I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
