The Grammy Awards aired last night, and you may have noticed Mark's latest Pepsi commercial. A couple of years ago, he choreographed a fun Diet Pepsi ad featuring Modern Family's Sofia Vergara dancing with his own dad, DWTS pro Corky Ballas. This new Pepsi commercial, also choreographed by Mark, features music and sports stars in a special Grammys Halftime show.
Mark has his own cameo in the 2.5-minute video; there’s a clear shot of him, holding Pepsi cans, at the 1:16 mark. But the main action is from football players — including Deion Sanders, Terry Bradshaw, Shannon Sharpe, and Matthew Stafford, with Mike Ditka doing his own (clothed, thankfully) version of Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” video. The video also has little cameos from music stars like Prince Royce, Jhene Aiko, and Cassadee Pope.
There’s a lot of dancing going on in the background of the extended ad, so Mark must have had his work cut out for him. But it must’ve been pretty fun work, too!
Watch the Pepsi Grammys Halftime Show in the video below. What do you think? Should Mike Ditka have done The full Miley Monty, or are you glad he didn’t?
Dancing With the Stars returns with Season 18 on Monday, March 17 on ABC.
