After Damon (Ian Somerhalder) returns with muddy shoes after burying Katherine’s body, he’s greeted by his little bro Stefan (Paul Wesley) with some bad news. When Stefan asks Damon where he’s been and his big bro only responds with “out,” Stefan asks for him to define what that actually means.
“One who hovers and sticks his nose in other people’s business. Oh, sorry, I was defining ‘annoying,’” Damon responds snarkily. Always with the one-liners, huh, Damon? “Katherine’s rotting corpse was stinking up the house, I got rid of it.” Gross!
“Could be a bit of a problem,” Stefan responds, prompting Damon to ask for an explanation. Stefan doesn’t have to say anything, he just nods his head in the direction of a determined Nadia.
“Because I’m here for Katherine’s body,” she retorts. But Damon isn’t going to give up the body that easily, and Nadia seems super ticked off about it. “My mother asked to be buried with her family in Bulgaria,” Nadia says, giving us a combo of a plea and a demand.
“And nothing gives me greater joy than to deny her dying wish,” Damon responds. Uh-oh, sounds like things are going to get heated between Damon and Nadia. Brace yourselves for an epic showdown for the record books.
