Scooter Braun Defends Justin Bieber’s Parents: “Stop Passing Judgment”

Justin Bieber’s got a lot going on right now, and his manager, Scooter Braun, has taken to Twitter to make an announcement: If you think you’re right to blame Justin’s parents for his bad behavior, you better think again.

The 19-year-old mega popstar has had more than one mugshot taken in the past 7 days for offenses like drag-racing while drunk and allegedly assaulting his limo driver, but Scooter insists that it’s not a result of bad parenting from Justin’s folks, Pattie Mallette and Jeremy Bieber.

“For those asking @jeremybieber and @pattiemallette love their son,” Scooter tweeted Wednesday night. “Stop passing judgement on a situation you don’t understand.”

It was never a question of whether or not Justin’s parents love their son — that part is obvious. But someone (and we’re guessing it’s a lot of someones) in Justin’s camp haven’t exactly been looking out for the “Confident” singer’s best interests. Maybe it’s not his parents, but it’s not like Justin ever goes anywhere without a group of older, wiser adults… who, in our opinion, should have made him aware that his recent behavior that has endangered the safety of others is not okay before he saw the inside of the Miami jail.

“I ask people to be kind and and hope for the best in people,” Scooter later added. “Not assume the worst. Thanks.”

We’re hoping Justin gets himself sorted out ASAP — with the help of Usher’s reported intervention, perhaps?
