According the synopsis, “Caroline makes a stunning confession to Elena” – and we’re guessing it is of the Klaroline hookup variety. That’s right! Caroline is coming clean about her steamy rendezvous in the woods with Klaus in the 100th episode, and we’re dying to see it for two reasons a) we’ll get to see how Caroline is processing the entire situation – does she regret it? – and b) Caroline and Elena will hopefully find some common ground after all of the crap Care has been giving Elena for dating a killer. Vampires who live in glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones.
Katherine pretends to be Elena
One of our all-time favorite scenes this season (and in Katherine’s stories run) has been the one in which Katherine pretends to be Elena to sneak into Whitmore House and get information about the Augustine Society. Katherine’s interpretation of Elena makes us laugh, and gives us some perspective on both characters and their relationship to one another. No doubt there will be some heartbreaking moments as Katherine plays with the Salvatore brothers’ hearts as Elena, but we’re ready for some laughs, too.
Damon’s broody, rubgy-loving prison mate is back in tonight’s episode, and we couldn’t be happier! Better yet: the European vamp is hanging with Damon in the Salvatore mansion, as you can see in these promo pics. According to the synopsis, “Enzo brings Damon a gruesome present and insists that they bond by committing an act of revenge.” Whatever. We’re interesting in watching these two catch up on the last 50 years.
Tyler finds out about Klaroline
Not to harp too much on this particular character development, but we’re dying to see the fallout from the Klaroline hookup as it relates to Tyler and Caroline, as well. As we see from this sneak peek, Tyler is planning on winning Caroline back (awkward) – and he is going to flip when he finds out she slept with his arch enemy. We’re both dreading and eagerly anticipating this scene. What can we say? We’re complicated television-watchers.
Matt sees Nadia
We’re for any scene involving Mystic Falls’ blue-eyed busboy, but we’re particularly eager to check out Matt and Nadia’s convo. If you’ll recall, the vampire knocked Matt out last episode and buried him alive as an incentive for his friends’ cooperation – and all of this after they shared a three-some in Prague and bonded over their crap parents. Rude! According to the synopsis, “After finding himself in awkward and confusing conversations with Nadia, Matt impulsively decides to throw a party.” Seems like Nadia has gotten under his skin. Excellent!
