Justin Bieber Releases Video for “Confident” Amid Legal Woes (VIDEO)
Hit pause on all the current Justin Bieber legal conundrums and take a few minutes to watch his latest music video. For the Biebs’ single “Confident” featuring Chance The Rapper, the six-minute ode to self-assurance has all the elements we’d want in a Justin mini-movie. There’s dancing. There’s junk food. There’s awkward pickup lines.
We begin with a hot girl — and no, it’s not Justin’s co-pilot and rumored new lady friend, Chantel Jeffries. This pretty young thing is, as the song plays on repeat, completely confident and Justin, well, he’s down with it.
What we’re not so confident about is this lady’s safety. Girlfriend’s walking around some badly lit alleys buying knockoff junk food and being followed by a whole posse of synchronized dancers. Just as we’re about to dial 911 on her behalf, Justin’s co-star jumps onto a motorcycle (sans helmet), still seemingly oblivious to the world-famous pop star smelling her perfume and tracking her every move.
There’s plenty more in the video (a whole three minutes) we could continue to wax poetic about but really, you should see it for yourself. One of the best bits comes early on when Justin shows us just how down to earth he is by picking a girl up at a convenience store.
Are you confident this new video’s a winner, or think maybe Justin should take a break from music to get his legal issues sorted out? Hit the comments!
