Even when she was still with her (much) older man Doug Hutchison, Courtney Stodden was always the star of that real-life show. Now that the newly-brunette bombshell has split from Doug, she’s making the most of every minute — and apparently, that will probably include getting her own reality show!
A source tells Celebuzz that Courtney has snagged herself a development deal with major production company, World of Wonder Productions. That’s actually pretty legit, girl! These are the people behind megahits like RuPaul’s Drag Race, Million Dollar Listing, and Tori & Dean: Inn Love, after all!
“Courtney’s working on multiple on-camera projects, one of which is her own show. And she’s being pitched to networks,” the source reveals. If a network does pick her show up, there will be plenty of material to work with. The 19-year-old is both newly-single and chasing after pop stardom.
After separating from Doug in the fall, the busty gal has moved out of their shared home and has gotten herself a bachelorette pad. Though she hasn’t exactly ventured too far...
“She moved into the studio apartment next door to the house she and Doug rented together,” the insider shares. “But Doug still lives in the main house. They’re not divorced yet, so she’ll stay there until they figure out how they want to proceed with things.”
Well, that could be awkward, considering Courtney seems to be keeping company with a younger man these days: rumored beau Jay, a 20-something model. Not exactly her usual type, but we’re all for this age-appropriate companion. Court did say she wanted to enjoy being young!
We would be totally on board with a Courtney-focused reality show. She already knows how to make good television from her stints on VH1’s Couples Therapy and the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother. Plus, her past musical attempts were, ahem, entertaining to say the least. Get on this, VH1!
