which means the werewolves are coming out to play! They’ll be joined by the witches, still on the offensive as Celeste
continues to slaughter the supernatural residents of the French Quarter to harness their power. Basically, it’s either claws or spells for Klaus
in Season 1, Episode 13
(“Crescent City”). Read on to see our full spoiler roundup.
Sexy new werewolves
The French Quarter is about to get even sexier. Tonight’s episode will see the introduction not one, but two hunky werewolves, both with a connection to Hayley. Nathan Parsons is making his debut in tonight’s ep as ruggedly handsome werewolf leader Jackson. Meanwhile, Rebekah seems to be getting close to another of the sexy werewolf men. In this promo photo, we see Sexy Werewolf #2 (aka Oliver) making the moonlight moves on Rebekah, and in the producer’s promo we see him in all of his shirtless glory.
The church service we see in the promo photos for Episode 13 shows many of our favorites — Marcel, Klaus, and Cami — filling the pews. The synopsis tells us: “At the re-opening of St. Anne’s Church, Father Kieran finds himself in a great deal of trouble after a run-in with a witch from his past.” Yikes! Whatever’s going down at the church, Father Kieran seems to play a relatively large role in this week’s ep. Elsewhere in the synopsis, “Cami is conflicted when she makes a difficult decision involving the safety of Father Kieran.” Is Father Kiernan going to bite it?
The Originals find out about Celeste
We’ve been in the know about the Celeste/Sabine connection (they’re the same person) for a while now, but the Original family is still playing catch up. It seems someone — probably Celeste herself — will finally spill the beans in tonight’s ep. In the producer’s promo, we see Klaus complain to his siblings: “First, Papa Tunde returns to settle old scores. Now, your murdered lover is back. This isn’t witches attacking vampires. They’re declaring war on us.”
Someone is threatening to spill Marcel and Rebekah’s secret
In last week’s episode flashback, we saw Marcel and Rebekah plot to bring Mikael to New Orleans, a scheme that eventually led to the Mikaelsons’ exodus from the French Quarter. If Klaus finds out, he is going to be beyond pissed, which is why this nugget from the synopsis is so darn intriguing: “Marcel and Rebekah grow concerned when the reemergence of someone they once knew threatens to expose secrets they’ve kept buried for nearly a century.” Sounds like someone is eager to spill the beans…
Monique may be alive
In the episode promo, we see a girl fighting to escape from coffin. We assume this is one of the teenage witches sacrificed in the Harvest — maybe Sophie’s niece, Monique? According to the synopsis, “Sophie is shocked when a discovery is made at the cemetery, but she soon realizes things may not be as they seem.” Does this mean the teenaged witches aren’t really coming back to life? Maybe they’re vamps? That would be a fun plot turn — especially if Davina is next in the resurrection queue.
Hayley’s throwing a werewolf party...
What’s a werewolf to do on a full moon but throw a party? While everyone else is freaking out about this Celeste business, Hayley takes it upon herself to throw a shindig. According to the synopsis, “With the full moon looming, Hayley lets Rebekah in on her plan to throw a party for her werewolf clan, but things take a dangerous turn when uninvited guests arrive.”
...and she finds herself in danger
Fulfilling her current main character role as Pregnant Damsel-in-Distress, Hayley seems to find herself in another life-threatening pickle in tonight’s ep. In the extended promo, we see her racing down a fiery corridor with Jackson in tow. Yikes!
Elijah has a choice: Hayley or his sibs
We’re guessing Hayley’s danger might be of the kidnapping variety considering that, according to the episode synopsis, “Elijah finds himself facing his own dilemma when he has to choose between Hayley and his siblings.” Has Celeste kidnapped them all? That seems impressive — even for a witch with half of the French Quarter’s dead residents’ power. Who will Elijah choose? Drama! Suspense!
Klaus makes a mess...again
Klaus can’t be in too much danger considering that, according to the synopsis, he still has time to cause a mess: “When one of his plans fails, Klaus takes drastic measures in the Cauldron, resulting in dangerous repercussions that affect everyone involved.” What is Klaus’ failed plan? And what kinds of “dangerous repercussions” will result from it? Oh, Klaus!
