The new season of Real Housewives of New York is still a little over a month away, but Ramona Singer is already enduring her fair share of drama in her personal life following the revelation that she filed for divorce from her husband, Mario, last week. And though the couple of 22 years hasn’t released an official statement, Ramona is now opening up about the painful situation.
“This has been the most difficult time in my life but when I see so many messages of love & support, it gives me a much needed smile #Thankful,” the Bravolebrity wrote this morning, February 5, on her Twitter.
Mario and Ramona’s daughter, Avery, a college freshman, has also been pretty active on her Twitter account since the divorce bombshell hit media outlets. She hasn’t, however, addressed the news of her parents’ separation or rumors of her father’s affair directly. But it’s clear that Avery and her mama are still very close, as she responded to the above tweet with the following:
“@ramonasinger see you in 3 days mommy!! cant wait to hug you! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! #bestmomintheworld”
Good to see that mother and daughter have one another to lean on during this difficult time. While Ramona, 57, was the one that officially filed to end the marriage on January 28, Mario has yet to address the split or allegations that he was involved with 27-year-old socialite Kasey Dexter.
The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 premieres on Tuesday, March 11, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
