American Idol

Watch Spencer Lloyd and His Group Sing “Best I Ever Had” in American Idol 2014 Hollywood Week Round 2 — February 6, 2014

Audition rounds are finally over and now the American Idol 2014 hopefuls are busting their busts in Hollywood! After throwing the contestants a curveball — a sudden death “Hollywood or Home” elimination round — Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. are ready to see what these people are made of!

After some stellar solo performances from the likes of Majesty Rose and Kenzie Hall, it’s time for the contestants to split off into groups. Will they manage to remember the lyrics and nail their harmonies? Or will the all-night rehearsals and clashing personalities become their downfall?

Next up is one of this year’s most eligible bachelors, 19-year-old Spencer Lloyd. He makes a smart choice by choosing a song he already knows, however he teammates aren’t quite so lucky. Tensions seem to rise during rehearsals as Megan Miller and Alyssa Siebken express their annoyance.

When they finally take the stage, they can only hope that their performance of “Best I Ever Had” miraculously comes together. Sadly, that’s not the way it works out.

“Okay, guys. That was tough. That being said, some of you have shown some real potential to go the distance.”

And who exactly do the judges think has that potential? Spencer Lloyd and Megan Miller get sent to the next round as Alyssa Siebken must say her goodbyes.
