It’s a boy for actress Melissa George and her French petit ami Jean-David Blanc! The couple welcomed their first child in the very lovely location of Paris, France.
Melissa shared the happy news via Twitter and her use of capitalization tells us she’s thrilled!
“WELCOME TO THE WORLD! OUR BEAUTIFUL SON Raphaël Blanc just born at the American hospital of Paris. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE LOVE,” she wrote February 10.
The 37-year-old Australian actress appeared as less than stellar intern Dr. Sadie Harris on Grey’s Anatomy back in 2008 to 2009 and, even further back, as Lauren Reed on Alias. More recently, Melissa stars on The Good Wife as seductive member of Governor Florrick’s in-house team Marilyn Garbanza.
Melissa and her French millionaire boyfriend announced the news they were expecting back in August. The two first met at a BAFTA after-party in 2012, according to The Daily Mail. Previously, Melissa was married to actor Claudio Dabed and briefly dated Russell Simmons.
Just because Melissa and Jean-David have a new son, don’t expect them to rush into marriage anytime soon. Back in 2012, Melissa candidly told Australia’s Daily Telegraph, “Words can’t describe, sometimes, things that feel so right. I wouldn’t want to butcher it by doing that. I had a marriage, and lots of other things, and they were really, really hard.”
Let’s hope having a newborn isn’t one of those things!
