The lovely Lauren chatted with Young Hollywoodjust before the second part of Season 4 kicked off last week and confirmed that even she’s really worried about her onscreen counterpart. She’s said that Maggie will chanel her grief over her dad Hershel Greene’s (Scott Wilson) death into anger, but Maggie also has a lot to fear now that she’s without her pals from Team Prison.
“Now they’re completely dispersed,” Lauren said of Maggie and her comrades. “A lot of people are actually completely on their and it’s really scary. It’s going to be a change for the show because we haven’t seen a lot of these characters out on their own. Maggie is also going to be more on her own than she ever has been yet: she doesn’t know where her sister is, she’s just lost her father, she doesn’t know where her husband is and it’s really scary.”
We totally caught Lauren referring to Glenn as Maggie’s “husband”, and we can only hope this foreshadows that the two lovebirds will survive this rough patch and reunite so they can make it official — however official you can get when the world has all but ended — but we should probably put the wedding plans on the backburner and just focus on survival as executive producer Gale Anne Hurd suggested.
“Archer is the perfect antidote to The Walking Dead environment,” she said about her new gig which will begin with the FX comedy’s March 31 episode. “It’s great...this has been really fun for me to get to delve into.”
