Steve-O’s Fake Seizure Stunt Decried By LA Fire Department — Steve-O Responds!

Though Jackass is long over, show host and notorious stuntman Steve-O is still delivering outrageous prank after outrageous prank — but it looks like the 39-year-old jokester has finally taken things a little too far.

On Tuesday, Steve-O and three of his pals caused quite the stir at a West Hollywood coffee shop after simultaneously faking seizures, even going as far as frothing at the mouth. According to TMZ, the bystanders did what anyone else would do — call 911 — and when it all turned out to be a sick joke, Steve-O and his friends walked away without getting into any trouble, even though paramedics responded to a fake call.

Check out a video of the failed prank over at TMZ.

Since Steve-O and his friends aren’t the ones who called 911, they can’t get in trouble for making false reports to the authorities. And don’t worry about the folks who innocently called 911 — they won’t see any consequences either.

“The L.A. Fire Department frowns on his actions that impacted safety,” Captain Jamie Moore of the LAFD told TMZ, going on to say that he’s contacted Steve-O and his lawyer to inform them of the gravity of the prank — though the seriousness of the situation is apparently not lost on Steve-O.

Steve-O spoke to the site and agreed that the joke was stupid and should be illegal, but that he’s not taking any responsibility at all. “This ‘seizure prank’ wasn’t my idea or my operation, and I agree that it was a real stinker,” he said.

It sounds like this dude will never grow up.

Do you think Steve-O and his friends should be held accountable for the prank? Hit the comments and let us know!
