Trista Sutter Talks The Bachelor, Juan Pablo, and Making Love Last With Ryan
Celebified sat down with Bachelor and Bachelorette alum Trista Sutter (née Rehn) to get her take on the newest season, Juan Pablo's controversial statements, and her and husband Ryan Sutter's return to reality television.
Trista met her hubby on The Bachelorette on the very first season in 2003, after finishing as a runner-up in The Bachelor Season 1. Defying reality TV couple odds, the pair got hitched, and have stayed that way.
So what makes the Sutter marriage work so well? "I don't think that we did anything special," admits Trisha. "I think that the stars aligned, there was someone watching out for us, we were lucky, we were committed, we were ready, we had all the necessary elements, and we just stayed focused and kept making our relationship a priority."
Given her success in Bachelor Nation, what does she think of the current season? As it turns out, Trisha has a favorite match for current Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis. "I think that his biggest match, she's coming up every week for me, is Clare. I know there's been a little controversy with them going and having a little romp in the ocean, but I personally thought it was more innocent than naughty. They just have a palpable chemistry," she dishes. "I know that I'm always wrong and I never read the spoilers ... I like a surprise. So I don't know what happens ... I just think they have great chemistry."
"I just hope they'll end up being as happy as Ryan and I," she adds, happily.
There's more where that came from, so be sure to watch Trista's full interview in the video above!
