Farrah Abraham shocked fans when she opened up about her startling history with both sexual and physical abuse. This former Teen Mom star claims that she was "drugged and raped more than once" in the wake of her sex tape, and that she "allowed the [wrong] type of people into [her] life."
Farrah's statement has been met with mixed reactions. Many fans have been supportive, while some doubt the veracity of her claims. Take Farrah's sex tape distributor, Vivid Entertainment head honcho Steve Hirsch. This dude has made it clear that he thinks Farrah is lying through her teeth, and even offered to pay her a whopping $1 million to take a polygraph test.
"Farrah has seemingly made a cottage industry out of telling lies,” Steve said in a press release. “We challenge Farrah to take our sanctioned polygraph test to prove whether or not she was telling the truth. If she passes the polygraph test, we will give her $1 million. If not, Farrah needs to publicly state that she was not being truthful and agree to forego all future and past royalties on both of her tapes. We look forward to her response."
It's surprising that Steve Hirsch would take such a callous attitude toward Farrah's claims. There's really no reason that people shouldn't assume she's telling the truth, and Farrah is understandably insulted by Steve's comments. But is she going to take that polygraph? Not a chance.
Though Farrah hasn't directly responded to Steve, her lawyer issued the following statement: “At this point in time my client has no comment to the offer made by Vivid. That is all the information I can provide you at this time."
Good for Farrah! This girl was brave enough to be honest about her past, and she shouldn't be expected to defend herself. Do you agree? Hit the comments!
