Last week on Real Housewives of Atlanta’s February 16 episode, we watched things go from cold to full-on frigid between former friends NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore at the Saving Our Daughters masquerade ball. In tonight’s February 23, the two on-the-rocks ladies rehashed their issues, and to our surprise, NeNe pulled out that favorite Housewives term: bullying!
We didn’t think anyone could ever bully our Queen Linnethia, but now she’s saying that’s exactly how she felt when Kenya pressured her into attending the charity event. The two got into it tonight at Peter Thomas’s birthday party, and while Kenya tries to smooth the tension, NeNe seemed hesitant to forgive her.
“I’m hearing you’re so angry with all the stuff that happened at the event, and I was just trying to do something nice for you,” Kenya says to open the discussion.
“If you are going to honor them, you’re having a special event or ball, you call them up,” NeNe responds brusquely. “You never did that… In my opinion you acted a fool.”
And she didn’t just feel Kenya blindsided her with the event supposedly in her honor, she also feels like she strong-armed her into it: “I felt like I was bullied to be at that event.”
“That’s a strong word,” Kenya responds, but NeNe quickly shows her the receipts, “You sent me a text saying, ‘You should be here or you’re going to look bad.’” Oo, that’s not cool, girl!
Despite all of that tension, the girls seemingly makeup… for now. Kenya apologizes and she and NeNe hug it out. But it’s clear that NeNe is still wary of the former Miss USA. This one’s not over, mark our words!
