The 2014 BET Honors aired last night (February 24), and audiences got a chance to hear great vocal tributes and performances from some our favorite artists. So, which artists graced us with their musical presence? Check out the videos below!

Living legend Mariah Carey took the stage atop the piano in a sultry, cleavage-baring gown to belt out her newest single, “You’re Mine (Eternal).”

Grammy-nominated artist and reality TV star Tamar Braxton honored music producer and visionary Barry Gordy with a performance of Diana Ross’s “Do you Know” and “Upside Down.”

In addition to Tamar’s tribute, eclectic funk and soul artist Janelle Monáe gave a rousing medley of Jackson 5 hits “I Want You Back” and “ABC“ in honor of the man behind Motown.

Honoring the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin,
American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson took the stage to perform a medley of Aretha’s greatest hits including “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “Respect,” and “Think.”

And last but not least, the Queen herself took the stage to give a performance a Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come” to honor the life and legacy of South Africa’s former president and humanitarian, Nelson “Madiba” Mandela.
