It’s going to be so cool, maybe ten years from now, when these girls realize they played Little Ass Kicker on The Walking Dead! That’s pretty sweet. It also has to be a little freaky for their parents when baby Judith Grimes is put in peril, like when Lizzie Samuels (Brighton Sharbino) gets that look on her face and tries to smother the child. But hey — all in a day’s work!
On TWD Season 4, Judith duty is split by twins Tinsley and Anniston Price. (Maybe one plays her as Shane’s baby, the other as Rick’s? Kidding!) Judith actually has her own "official" Facebook page with almost 7,000 likes and details on the many actresses who have played her.
According to the site, in Season 3, Judith was played by Adelaide and Eliza Cornwell, and they made their on-screen debut at just six weeks old. Loudyn and Leighton Case also played Judith in Season 3, debuting in Episode 9. Other babies reportedly played Judith when the main twins weren’t available.
Anniston and Tinsley were born in 2012 so they should be hitting the ripe old age of two later this year. Lori gave birth to Judith in the first half of Season 3 and there was a gap of six or seven months between Season 3 and Season 4. Judith should be maybe 9-12-months-old by the second half of Season 4, right?
Filming for Season 4 ended in November, and we’re expecting Season 5 to start filming a little over a month after the Season 4 finale. If Judith survives to see Season 5 — fingers crossed! — the usual time jump between seasons could fit with the natural aging of Anniston and Tinsley, so maybe they won’t have to find new kids.
Are you excited to see Papa Grimes reunited with his baby girl at some point, hopefully soon? Who’s more adorable — these twin babies or Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) when they get bromantic?
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
