Grey’s Anatomy Wasn’t Always Called Grey’s Anatomy — What Was It Once Titled?

It's difficult to imagine Grey's Anatomy titled anything other than Grey's Anatomy. But once upon a time in Shondaland, the show did indeed go by a different name. But what was its erstwhile title?

That's the question with which we quizzed Viggle LIVE! users, giving them three possible titles from which to choose. Nearly half of the users who responded — 47 percent — nailed the right answer: Surgeons. (Another working title was Complications.)

Try your hand at the trivia! Download the free Viggle app now.

29 percent of you guessed Sex and the Surgery — and you're not too far off. According to The Futon Critic, that's the name by which ABC executives referred to the show when it was still a pilot — but only amongst themselves!

And 24 percent guessed Heart Operations, which is just a title we fabricated. (But does it sound improbable? We think not — everyone knows that TV execs love double entendres!)

Wanna join Viggle and impress us with your TV and movie knowledge? It’s easy — and you even get to earn rewards for watching your favorite shows. All you have to do is download the Viggle app, get watching, and join in on the fun!
