So, turns out Teen Mom 3's Alexandria Sekella and Matt McCann aren't getting on as well as we'd hoped. These estranged lovers have a pretty intense history of deranged fights and custody battles, mostly stemming from the fact that Matt was addicted to drugs and dropped out of Alex's life. However, Matt has majorly cleaned up his act in the past two years — he's sober, has a full-time job, and is 100 percent ready to commit to his daughter, Arabella!
That's the good news. The bad news is that Alex doesn't exactly want Matt in Bellie's life — at least when it comes to parenting decisions. As of now, Matt has visitation with Arabella on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but it looks like he wants to up the amount of time he spends with his daughter — much to Alex's chagrin.
Apparently, these two recently had a phone conversation to talk about co-parenting Bellie, and let's just say it didn't go well. In a series of angry subtweets, both Matt and Alex reflected on their conversation, and it looks like their mutual loathing is just as strong as ever! "Well I recorded about 10 minutes of that phone call, if you want to tweet about it, I can just share the recording. I'm not playing anymore," Matt tweeted, adding "I tried to be civil. Inviting you to dinner to discuss coparenting. You showed your true colors."
Meanwhile, Alex was over on her corner of the internet subtweeting Matt with similar intensity. "The lack of respect is amazing," Alex tweeted, adding "Apparently it is unhealthy for a mother and child to spend every night together. Seriously."
Sigh, can't we all just get along? Matt clearly wants more time with Arabella, and while we understand why Alex is hesitant, it might be time for her to accept the fact that this dude is going to be a fixture in her daughter's life. Then again, Matt should treat Alex with the respect she deserves — after all, she is the mother of his child!
