Heroes took the world by storm when it premiered in 2006. It reinvented what superheroes could look like on TV, and for a moment there it was so big it even overshadowed Lost. You could hardly turn on the TV without hearing "Save the cheerleader, save the world."
The show's popularity fell off after a few disappointing seasons, and it was cancelled in 2010. But the series is getting new life thanks to an upcoming reboot! In 2015, NBC will revive Heroes ;with a 13-episode miniseries. While the show will feature mostly new characters (boo!), ;NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke added, "We won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in" (yay!).
