Grey’s Anatomy’s Camilla Luddington: I Want to Know More About Jo’s Sexual Assault

As far as Grey’s Anatomy characters go, some have histories that we’ve been kept in the dark on. While we know just about everything about Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and her childhood, there are some characters we have very little information about. Like how — until recently — we knew just about nothing about Alex (Justin Chambers), just that he had a brother and that his home life wasn’t the happiest.

And Camilla Luddington is ready for Grey’s to expose secrets about Jo’s past so we can get to know her a little better… especially when it comes to her sexual assault that she referenced last season.

“Something that hasn’t been touched on that I would love to see touched on is the sexual abuse — or perhaps even rape — that Jo referred to last season when the tree came through the window,” Camilla told TVLine. “It hasn’t been brought up since, and I want to know what the situation was and what she went through.”

We do, too — we only met Jo last season, but we want to know more about her. She’s definitely the most intriguing intern of the crop, but we know very little about her. Except, of course, that she and Alex are not engaged. No, sir.

Well, yet. Please, Shonda?
