Fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss could breathe a sigh of relief a few years back, when she found now-fiancé Todd Tucker. Though Kandi was doing a kick-ass job raising daughter Riley all by herself, it was so nice to see her find a support system in Todd. With how great Kandi’s man is with Riley, however, it’s easy to forget that she actually has a father already — and he lives right in Atlanta!
Only on the rare occasion has the RHoA star brought up her ex (and Riley’s dad) Russell “Block” Spencer. We know that he used to have very little interaction with the pre-teen, though that’s improved in recent years.
We did a little research into the mysterious baby daddy, and here’s what we know:
He’s an entertainment mogul that’s worked with Diddy.
Russell heads up the indie record label, Block Entertainment, a company that launched the careers of stars like Young Jeezy and Jody Breeze. The label signed a joint venture with Diddy’s Bad Boy Records in 2009.
He, too, is “very rich, b—.”
Much like his ex Kandi, Russell is very successful at what he does. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Riley’s dad is worth around $10 million. Just don’t tell Mama Joyce — she’ll hold it over Todd!
He helped to discover Ciara.
Kandi’s baby daddy helped to form Atlanta-based ShoNuff Records in the late ‘90s. The label then went on to sign one of today’s biggest R&B artists, Ciara, to her first record deal!
You can find him hanging out with Rick Ross.
Back in September 2013, Russell signed on as one of Ricky Rozay’s brand ambassadors, “The Black Bottle Boys,” alongside stars like JR Smith and Wale. The role has him promoting Belaire Rose Champagne at parties across the globe.
