An Important Message From Wetpaint Editors About Our Paparazzi Photo Policy
Here at Wetpaint Entertainment we're obsessed with all things celebrity. While that means we want to know everything celebs are willing to share about themselves — and we mean everything! — we also want them to be able to live their lives as normally as possible, and of course free of safety concerns. Celebrity kids, especially, should never be faced with harassment from the paparazzi.
Over the past year, more and more celebrities have spoken up about the scary challenges they deal with every day from photographers taking photos of their kids at the park, at their schools, and elsewhere. Halle Berry, Jennifer Garner, and now Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are just a few of the famous parents who have stood up in support of putting an end to this sort of behavior.
Today, Wetpaint Entertainment would like to announce that we are joining the #NoKidsPolicy movement.
That means we will no longer publish photos or videos of celebrity children that are not sanctioned by their parents. Certainly, when stars opt to post photos of their kids on social media, or share them directly with Wetpaint Entertainment, we will continue to bring you all the latest updates. We also will publish photos of celebrity children who are public figures in their own rights. And photos taken at media events and photo shoots where celebs and their kids have chosen to have their photos snapped will continue to be highlighted.
We thank the celebrities who have championed this issue, and we’re proud to be part of this important movement.
