The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 13: “Alone” was all about Bob Stookey (Larry Gilliard Jr.), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan). About a third of the way through the hour, Maggie ditched Sasha and Bob because, as Lauren previously explained, it’s like she was dragging them on her quest and that didn’t seem entirely fair.
But as soon as Bob realized Maggie had gone out on her own, he sprang into action and told Sasha that they needed to find her. Sasha initially said she had no interest in finding Maggie and even went off on her own while Bob continued the search solo. In an interesting twist, Sasha was actually the one who ended up spotting Maggie, and eventually the two of them reunited with Bob on the train tracks to Terminus.
But why was Bob so hellbent on finding Maggie in the first place? Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick asked Lauren and Sonequa that very question when they were on his show last Sunday, and this is what Lauren had to say: “He’s finally broken the seal, I think. He’s not alone and he has these two great chicks with him…”
The last bit was kind of joke, but Lauren did say that she and Sonequa felt like Maggie and Sasha were sort of like Charlie’s Angels. We think Maggie is pretty dead set on reuniting with Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), but Bob and Sasha clearly shared a kiss and had a moment.
Speaking as Bob, Chris offered an interesting inner monologue evaluating Mr. Stookey’s current situation. “Seriously if I’m gonna have a threesome, it’s gonna be in the apocalypse. I cannot let this get away. If it’s ever gonna happen, now is the time!”
The audience erupted in a fit of laughter even before Chris offered a very valid reason as to why Bob wanted to track down Maggie. “We gotta find her because of...reasons!,” he concluded.
We certainly think that Bob’s motivation for finding Maggie has more to do with not wanting to be alone, as Lauren had started to say, but the Talking Dead clip below is pretty darn funny, so we recommend you give it a watch!
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
