We've gotten to know Porsha Williams pretty well since she joined the Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 5 and we love her, but, let's face it, she isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. From her hilarious comment about there being 265 days in a year to her alarming revelation that she thought the Underground Railroad was an actual train, Porsha has established herself as the airhead in the group. But, is she really as clueless as she seems or is she putting on an act?
One of Kenya Moore's Twitter followers recently wondered the same thing. Kenya decided to reveal Porsha's game.
"Is porscha really clueless? Or playing a role," Kenya's fan tweeted.
Kenya responded, "Wish it was a joke but it's not. She'll be fine."
In the past, Kenya has even taken some partial responsibility for Porsha's shortcomings in the history department. During an appearance on Arsenio Hall, Kenya explained, “For her not to know anything about the Underground Railroad...it’s embarrassing. I almost feel sorry for her to be — I don’t want to use the word dumb, but dumb — and to show that to the world. We all make mistakes but the ignorance is something that’s hard to deal with. I feel on a lot of levels we failed her."
Not long after, Porsha appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, where the host called her out, saying, "Your behavior is less than smart."
But one of her co-stars, Phaedra Parks, is sticking up for her. During an exclusive with Wetpaint Entertainment, Phaedra said, "I did say she has a small brain because she does say some things that are very… comical. But at the end of the day, she’s become a formidable businesswoman. She’s got her hair line and she’s also doing interior decorating. She’s actually helping me with some things. Under all of that hair, she’s got a lot of sense."
