Celebrity Arrests

Chris Brown Must Stay in Jail Until Hearing in Late April (VIDEO)

Chris Brown may have had to extend his stay in rehab by an extra two months, but plans have changed: Monday, Chris was ordered to remain in jail until his hearing in late April after his comments during therapy have raised the eyebrows of Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin, according to People.

During a therapy session Friday, Chris refused to take treatment seriously, even mocking other patients during their “morning reflections session.” Later, when it was Chris’s turn to share his reflections, things got a little out of hand.

“[Chris] drew a reflection card that mentioned excelling and being good at things. When reading his card, Mr. Brown chose to add his own words to the card, stating that, ‘I am good at using guns and knives,’” a report from the rehab facility states. “Another client asked if he was serious about this goal. [Chris answered] ‘Of course’ while shaking his head no.”

Yikes. That is pretty troubling, so we’re not surprised that Chris has been officially discharged from the center “for breaking program rules and not following through with items listed on his signed behavior contract.”

Since Chris’s problems with violence and abuse obviously stem from his recent diagnoses of PTSD and bipolar disorder, rehab was seen as a positive alternative to jail. However, since Chris refuses to go along with the rules the center has laid out for him, it’s no longer an option. Now he will remain in jail until his Washington D.C. hearing where he’ll be tried on an assault charge.

We hope Chris is able to get the help he needs soon.
