The Voice 2014: Best Performance From Season 6 Battle Rounds — March 18, 2014 (VIDEO)

The Voice Season 6 kicked into high gear last night with the second batch of Battle Rounds. We saw some of the favorite contestants from Team Usher, Adam, and Shakira (one of Team Blake Shelton’s battles was thrown into a three-battle montage) duke it out on stage in an attempt to make it into the Knockout Rounds.

Of the night’s battles, Team Shakira’s battle between Clarissa Serna and Jeremy Briggs to Foreigner’s “Cold As Ice” proved to be pretty entertaining, with both singers’ performances sending chills up our spine. And while Team Adam’s Delvin Choice and Caleb Elder’s battle to “The Man” by Aloe Blacc was certainly energetic, we had to give the title of best duo to Team Usher’s Brittnee Camelle and Melissa Jimenez.

Both ladies graced the stage with massive sex appeal as they tackled Melanie Fiona’s “Give It To Me Right.” This duet had beautiful harmonies, emotion-filled lyrics, and high notes out the wazoo. Though Melissa won the battle, Brittnee definitely put up a good fight — so good in fact that both coach Shakira and Adam jumped in to steal Brittnee for their respective teams. Brittnee ultimately chose to go with Adam and lived to sing another day.
