Kim Kardashian Is Back on The Atkins Diet: “Had to Check Myself” (VIDEO)
Kim Kardashian may have said goodbye to the extra weight she gained while she was pregnant with North West long ago, but recently, she decided she needed to step up her game after seeing pictures of herself that made her realize she was carrying around some extra luggage she did not approve of.
“I did the Atkins diet,” Kim told a fan who asked how she lost weight so quickly on Mobio Insider, a website that connects fans to their favorite celebrities. “I actually saw I gained some weight back when I saw pics of myself and started it again. Had to check myself. I work out 5 times a week & try to eat as healthy as possible.”
This isn’t the first time Kim’s been on the Atkins diet. In October 2013, she admitted that the diet — along with breastfeeding — was the reason she was able to shed baby weight en masse. The diet, which was wildly famous in the early 2000, cuts out carbs in favor of eating more fruits and veggies instead. And, obviously, to keep that body (that many of us would kill for) in optimal condition, hitting the gym on a regular basis is required.
We wouldn’t be surprised if the diet carries on until Kim’s wedding to beau and baby daddy Kanye West, especially considering the fact that it looks like the ceremony will be broadcast as a two part special on E! later this year.
It’s always a must to look as awesome as possible on your wedding day… but it’s extra, extra important when literally millions of people will see you in your wedding dress!
