Grey's Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 17 Spoilers: 4 Things We Learn From the Promo (VIDEOS)

One decision can change the entire course of your life — and on Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 17 (“Do You Know?”), Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) is going to imagine two potential futures for herself, both involving Owen.

What are Cristina's future like? Here's what the promo for the episode tells us to expect from next week:

1. Being together vs. not. The promo opens with Cristina saying to Owen near the elevators, "We should be together." That's followed by a shot of Cristina not approaching Owen, and then telling Meredith, "Owen and I are over." So it looks like she's thinking about what would happen if she went all in on her relationship again vs. if she let Owen go for real.

2. Does single Cristina become a spinster? At :05 we're given a split of the imagined futures. On the left, Owen and Cristina get down and dirty. On the right, Cristina is wearing glasses and has grey in her hair. While we don't know for sure, we're betting the in the second scenario Cristina is imagining her life as a lonely spinster totally focused on her work. Though at :10 the grey haired Cristina looks very happy while the Owen-lovin' Cristina looks upset, so it's not like the path on the right is necessarily the wrong one.

3. Trouble in Crowen land. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if this episode helped Cristina realize she needs to cut things off with Owen before they go too far again. At :08 Cristina tells Owen, "I can't give you more than I am already giving you." We're guessing this is from the path where they're together. After all, as much as we like Owen and Cristina, there is a reason they divorced in the first place, so it's not hard to imagine that things would get strained again if they did get back together.

4. Would she marry Owen? At :12 Owen is begging Cristina to marry him. Which version of Cristina, though?
