The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale Extended Promo: Who Is Screaming? (VIDEO)
We’re used to only getting one promo for the following Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead, but since the March 30 episode is the Season 4 finale, AMC has gifted us with two promos of “A.”
The first standard promo aired after Season 4, Episode 15: “Us,” and the extended promo aired during a Talking Dead commercial break later that evening (March 23). The extended version, below, features everything the initial promo had with some additional footage and a creepy Terminus voiceover. “Sanctuary for all. Community for all,” the robotic sounding voice says over shots of Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) bloodied hands and face and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) running through the woods, possibly headed towards that dude screaming for help.
The word “Terminus” is then repeated several times over a series of interesting and troubling shots. For starters, Michonne (Danai Gurira) uses her katana to hack into a group of walkers on the train tracks, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) has a black eye, and Michonne and Carl hug it out.
The extended promo also shows someone (Rick?) reaching for and loading a gun, just before Rick, Carl, and Michonne enter a candle-filled room with the world “Always” written on the wall behind them. Always as in always be scared? Because this room is downright terrifying.
And who can forget that blood-curdling scream right before the voiceover says, “Those who arrive, survive,” over a shot of a seemingly defeated Rick? Are you officially creeped out by this extended promo, because we sure are! Check it out below and tell us your thoughts.
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
