The Voice: Which Coach Has the Most Number 1 Singles?

We totally get why The Voice is the most popular singing competition on TV these days. Yeah, the show features some great undiscovered artists, but we have to admit we watch it just as much for the fact that the coaches wrote some of the best songs on our playlists. They’ve all shot up the Billboard charts several times over with hits, but to date it’s Blake Shelton who can claim the most number-one singles of them all.

That bit of trivia stumped most users on Viggle LIVE! during last night’s episode. Nearly 43 percent thought Usher has the most number ones, while just a quarter (25 percent) of folks guessed Blake. Meanwhile, 17 percent guessed Shakira and 16 percent selected Adam Levine.

Don’t miss out on the trivia fun. Join Viggle!

Though Usher has an impressive nine No. 1 singles, he’s bested by Blake who currently has 15. Of course, Usher owns the Billboard Hot 100, while Blake is King of the Billboard Country charts. Something tells us that Usher’s pretty comfortable with his own achievements, though. With 18 Top 10 hits to his name and over 65 million records sold worldwide, he and Shakira are both on the list of the best-selling recording artists of all time.
