Cory Monteith’s Last Tweet Temporarily Deleted From Twitter

Did something mysterious happen to the last tweet that Glee star Cory Monteith (Finn) sent? It appears that the tweet disappeared temporarily, although it's not yet clear why.

According to NBC News, Twitter users have noticed that a number of popular tweets have been disappearing inexplicably. One of those is Cory's final tweet, and other vanishing tweets include Ellen DeGeneres's celeb-filled Oscar selfie and a tweet from Justin Bieber.

Twitter says that a bug somehow caused certain tweets to not be displayed, and the company is said to be looking into it. Luckily, Cory's final tweet has been restored to his Twitter feed. The tweet was about the TV movie Sharknado. On July 12, 2013, he wrote, "what the crap is Sharknado," followed by, "oh. IT'S A SHARK TORNADO." Cory passed away from a drug overdose on July 13.

Glee aired the second part of its 100th episode special this week, and the ending is extremely touching, as a clip of Finn's dialogue is heard when Mr. Schue leaves the choir room for the last time. The glee club also performed a new rendition of "Don't Stop Believin'," which Cory had performed with the rest of New Directions in Season 1.

What do you think happened to Cory's tweet?
