The Voice 2014: Music List From the Season 5 Battle Rounds — March 25, 2014

The last night of The Voice Season 6 Battle Rounds provided some spectacular performances — despite the dreaded montage, which squeezed three battles into one short clip. The winners (*) of last night’s battles advanced to the new and improved Battle Rounds 2, where the contestants will be paired up yet again to sing a duet — this time, to a song of their choosing.

Exercising his last “steal” option, Usher saved one final singer from elimination. With an eclectic mix of indie, jazz, rock, country, and pop, all the contestants made a lasting impression.

Here’s what the contestants battled to last night:

1. “Give Me Love” by Ed Sheeran (performed by Cary Laine and Sam Behymerr*)
2. “Everything” by Michael Bublé (performed by Kaleigh Glanton* and Noah Lis)
3. “Turn on the Radio” by Reba McEntire (performed by Kristen Merlin* and Lindsay Bruce)
4. “What’s Love Got to Do With It” by Tina Turner (performed by Cali Tucker and Ryan Whyte Maloney*)
5. “I Knew You Were Trouble” by Taylor Swift (performed by Christina Grimmie* and Josh Howard)
6. “Brave” by Sara Bareilles (performed by Cierra Mickens** and Emily B.*)

What did you think of last night's song choices? Tell us your thoughts below!
