Need another reason to love Channing Tatum? Probably not, but we’ll give you one anyway: He helped a teen battling stage-four brain cancer cross an item off her bucket list in a way only he was capable of.
So how did Channing know his services were needed? Via a Facebook page created to honor 18-year-old Alisa Finley called Alisa’s Butterflies, where friends and family can go to offer their messages of support to Alisa — and where her 48-item bucket list has been posted. Number one: Kiss Channing Tatum.
And of course, as soon as Channing got word of his important place on her list, he made it happen in the best way he knows how: He created an adorably dorky video for Alisa — including footage of dancing with his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, at the Oscars to a version of Pharrell’s “Happy” they created just for her — and made sure to blow her a kiss.
“Just wanted to send you a little vid and say what’s up and hope you’re doing good today,” Channing says in the video. “And, oh, we were at the Oscars the other night and Pharrell came on and we can’t ever be, you know, not dancing and happy when that song comes on. So we made a little ditty, a little song for you. Just know that you’re loved and that we’re giving you a big ol’ kiss from over here.”
Okay, it’s not exactly a full-on liplock, but we’d take it. Alisa’s Facebook has counted Channing’s top slot as “almost done.” Channing, you know what to do: Give that girl a smooch, live and in person!
