A fun-filled vacation to the Big Apple for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville and her sons took a scary turn over the weekend. Brandi's ten-year-old son, Mason, needed to be rushed to the emergency room.
Brandi and sons Jake and Mason were in NYC on March 29 when Mason suddenly had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The family had been enjoying time at Central Park earlier in the day, and it is unclear exactly what happened to Mason to require medical attention.
"8 hours in the ER, this trip to NYC Mason will never forget!" Brandi tweeted later that day. "1st trip in an ambulance! All will be fine."
Brandi then gave a shout-out to the medical staff who saved her son. "Just want to thank all the hardworking Dr. [and] Nurses & EVERYONE that put up with my crying, panicked ass and help save my babes life!" she writes. "Thanks for your well wishes regarding Mason — he is doing a lot better and all will be fine!"
We're relieved that Mason is doing better and is on the road to recovery. And in happier news, the three of them were able to all see Aladdin on Broadway the next day. Phew!
However, LeAnn Rimes was not pleased that Mason's dad, Eddie Cibrian, was not notified about the emergency immediately. Apparently, they found out about Mason's condition from a friend. "Got a text from a friend at 4:30am asking if mason was ok," LeAnn writes. "My husband [needed] to be notified."
It's sad to hear that LeAnn and Eddie didn't know about the situation sooner, and we hope the family is able to improve their communication for times like these.
Send your happy thoughts to Mason in the comments section! And do you think LeAnn was right to be upset?
