It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard news about rapper The Game returning to reality TV. And while we have long speculated that the “Hate It or Love It” artist just might be making moves to join Mona Scott Young’s Love & Hip Hop LA, the rapper revealed that he’s currently in works of bringing back his hit reality show, Marrying The Game for a third season!
Although VH1 hasn’t formally announced the return of the show, The Game recently took to Instagram with a photo of himself in a sound booth, captioned, “#MarryingTheGameSeason3 behind the scenes.... Interviews. 7 hours on this hard ass chair !!! @VH1.” The Game later posted a photo of his son, Harlem Caron, seated in the same booth, saying “Now it's the lil homies turn. @harlemcarontaylor#marryingthegameseason3 #vh1 #51minds #lafamilia.”
While we didn’t see anyone photos of The Game’s on-again off-again fianceé, Tiffany Cambridge — with whom he is rumored to have broken up this past January — The Game did post a photo of his personal assistant, Lo Lo, seated in the booth, which lets us know that at least she’ll be there.
“MarryingTheGameSeason3 behind the scene test interviews today wit @leauxsteez ..... Her turn to get that numb ass from sitting in the chair for 5 hours,” he captioned the photo of Lo Lo.
It appears that this season may be more family focused than anything, as Tiffany’s rep did say back in January that wasn’t any “confirmation of any shows involving my client” at the time of the LHHLA speculation. Does that mean The Game’s estranged (and possible ex) fianceé is not going to be in the Marrying The Game Season 3 as well?
Furthermore, what does that mean for Mona’s Love & Hip Hop LA? Can it be that this third season of Marrying The Game is just the precursor to parlay The Game onto a new reality show? Hmm… so many questions!
