Jenelle Evans may be pregnant with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith's love child, but you better believe this Teen Mom 2 star is still married to Courtland Rogers. This unhappy couple tied the knot during a courthouse wedding back in December 2012, but their marriage fell apart a few months later, when they were both arrested for heroin possession.
Since their joint arrest, Courtland has been in and out of jail more than we've been at In-N-Out Burger, while Jenelle's been patiently waiting out their required year-long separation. That's right, the state of North Carolina doesn't allow couples to get divorced until they've been separated for 12 months, which means Courtland and Jenelle are married despite the fact that they loathe each other.
"Jenelle wants to divorce Courtland and marry Nathan," a source tells RadarOnline.com. "She is done with Courtland and wants nothing else to do with him.”
Unfortunately, Courtland was recently arrested and charged with felony larceny, but he was released from the slammer on April 2 after posting a $6,000 bond. The good news? Now that Courtland is a free man, Jenelle can file her divorce papers and move on. “I’m ready to get him out of my life and move on with being Jenelle Evans again,” she tells Radar.
Jenelle reportedly plans to file divorce papers on April 24, which means she'll be a free woman in just a mere matter of weeks! The real question? How long will this starlet wait before she jumps straight into another marriage with Nathan?
