Time to hit the books! Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein has a big day coming up, as she will soon be taking her test to become a U.S. citizen.
On April 7, Lisa — who is Canadian — tweeted that she is finally taking her citizenship exam. "Just got my appointment for my exam to become a us citizen!" she tweets. "#studytime lol i will be keeping my canadian citizenship as well :)"
She added that she still loves both countries. "Happy to becoming a us citizen but proud to be Canadian #Canadian #neverforgetwhereicamefrom," Lisa tweets.
We're very excited for Lisa! We also hope that we'll get to see this momentous occasion on the show. RHOM has yet to be officially renewed for Season 4, but maybe it will get picked up before Lisa's test.
Lisa is not the first Real Housewives star to take her U.S. citizenship test after becoming a reality TV fixture. Indeed, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster became a U.S. citizen during Season 4 of that show.
We wish Lisa all the best, and we love her attitude about having dual citizenship!
Are you surprised that Lisa is not yet a U.S. citizen?
