We know you’ve been waiting for the day when Brooklyn Decker and her husband, retired tennis pro Andy Roddick, announce the news that they’re expecting their first child. Well, don’t get too excited just yet, this couple is holding tight and waiting for the right time.
“I love kids. I definitely want kids,” Brooklyn recently revealed to People. “ I just have to figure out the timing of that.” Smart girl.
The couple — who are nearing their fifth wedding anniversary this month — are taking things slow and are currently enjoying just being an aunt and uncle. “It is great getting to be Aunt Brooklyn and play with my friends’ kids,” the 26-year-old model-turned-actress adds.
But when the timing is right for these two, you can count Brooklyn and Andy having a few kids of their own, plus even adopting a child. "I want to adopt a child or a baby with an intellectual disability one day," Brooklyn once told Flare magazine back in 2012 (via People). "I mean, that's in the distant future, but that’s always been a goal of mine."
How sweet! Until then, these two lovebirds will be able take as many makeup-free date nights as they desire, right after they hand back their nieces and nephews to their respective parents, of course.
