Former Community star Donald Glover, A.K.A. Childish Gambino, is letting it all out on Twitter!
After the release of his latest single, “Sweatpants,” artist/actor Childish sent out a few less-than flattering tweets about his frustration with his record label, Glassnotes Records.
“We were told a lot of things were gonna happen and they were all lies,” he writes in one of his tweets. He then openly asks if someone would “buy me out of this contract” after claiming the record company had lied to him.
“i dont like record companies,” he writes. “but im [sic] not having another project go through this.”
Billboard notes this isn’t the first time Donald has come out swinging against those who aren’t receptive to his music. In November he tweeted about his anger that his song came out early.
“Im [sic] trying to create one of the more imaginative rollouts, and other people’s lust for money and impatience is ruining it,” he wrote about the early release.
What do you think about Childish’s new feud with his record company? Do you think he’s right about their "lust for money?" Let us know what you think in the comments below!
